A useful and beautifully engineered converter designed for the Kaweco Sport Range.

Bottled ink is generally more cost effective than ink cartridges, and it is also a more eco friendly alternative as most ink bottles are made of glass, and converters can be used over and over again.

They are also useful if you like to change your ink colours regularly, simply empty the converter back into the ink bottle, rinse the converter and your pen nib, and start again with a new colour.

Works very well with the Diamine Inks.

IMPORTANT - Do not use acrylic or shellac based calligraphy inks in fountain pens.

Directions for use;

Insert the converter into the pen as you would a regular ink cartridge

Without putting the barrel of the pen back on, place the nib of the pen directly into your ink of choice

Draw back the piston which will draw ink up through the pen and into the cartridge. You may need to do this a few times in a pumping motion to remove the air.

Replace the barrel of your pen, taking care for any drops that may expel from the nib, and having a cloth ready to wipe excess ink from the nib and pen.
